Class communications: Communications will include limited e-mail messages and announcements on this site. The e-mail facility on the University site is the official e-mail facility for the University. The University places responsibility on students to maintain and view this facility on a regular basis. Students should periodically delete unwanted mail from the University account to avoid filling to capacity. Students who prefer to forward e-mail to a different account or prefer to have mail sent to a different account can find instructions for these types of procedures on the following link: E-Mail Instructions
January 15: First day of classes: Introduction to course and instructor. Link to course syllabus.
January20: Beginning lecture on Introduction to the Database Development Process.

March 9 - 13: Spring Break. No classes during this week.
February 17: Importing/Exporting Data E-Course Complete
February 19: Database Forms E-Course Complete. Class allocated to e-learning activities.
February 19: Distribute semester project, organize teams, and work on group projects

February 24: Draft copy of logical design for semester project due to include project summary, itemized reporting requirements, E-R Diagram and DBDL coding.
March 3: Final logical design for semester project due.
March 17: Database Reports E-Course Complete
March 17: Data collection completed.
March 24: Form and report design completed.
March 31: Final semester project design review and modification completed.
April 23: Final integrative project submission and team member report due.
April 23 and April 28: Short oral reports on projects. All team members must be present. Entire class is expected to attend each session, be attentive, and participate in discussion.
April 30: Study Day. No classes on this date.
Final exam schedule. Verify the test date with the schedule of classes publication. The University administration requires attendance during the final exam.


Final Exam: May 5 at 7:00 p.m.
